Fundraiser/30th Birthday Party Monday July 19th 8PM

It has been a couple of weeks since my last blog. The website is currently being worked on, so bear with me through all of the changes. I have lost four more pounds and I am now at a total weight loss of 72 pounds. I had a great July 4th. I splurged a little, but I did not gain weight—which is a first for me. I walked every morning and stayed active so it balanced out.

The last two weeks have been very tough on me. I started a part time job to supplement my income. I am selling Clear Internet. I am able to build my own schedule. It is just something to make ends meet until I can get things lined up with sponsors. I am also working on an action plan to make this a long-term outreach to help those who are struggling with their weight on a daily basis. This is an epidemic that is taking over our country, and we need to make a stand for what is right. Over 35 percent of America suffers from obesity. This is a scary fact. If we don’t make a stand now and start shrinking that number one pound at a time, we will not have to worry about a war. The other countries will just have to outlive us. We are killing ourselves. There are new illnesses being discovered every day and doctors have no idea what is causing them. I feel that it is because of what we are putting in our body or the lack of what we are putting in our body. We must take control.

This week, I am busy getting everything in place for my upcoming fundraiser/30th birthday party. There is much to celebrate! Here are the details:

What to bring: A case of water or something healthy to eat.
Price: I am asking that people donate however they feel led—loose change, big checks, or your piggy bank. LOL

There will be live music from John White and Mandi Holmes and a few other yet-to-be named guests. It is going to be a fun night of entertainment and fellowship for a great cause. Invite as many people as you want. Have a great week.
